Jason Recovers and Heads Home, Thanks to You!

Jason the cat

You may have seen this familiar and adorable face on our page before, but if you haven’t, meet Jason! Jason came to our Guilderland office in poor shape. He had been found in an abandoned warehouse in Schenectady with large open wounds on both of his hind legs. Jason was very hungry and struggled to walk. Thanks to the kind heart of one of our clients, Jason was saved and brought to Just Cats where he was entrusted to our dedicated team for his continued care.

Jason made a comfy home out of our clinic in no time! He brightened up everyone’s day by reminding us that yes, he was still hungry, and that yes, if we didn’t bring him his lunch exactly on time that he would be meowing for the next two hours until we did. Everyone at Just Cats was talking about Jason and how we could best help him heal and recover, and he was always a frequent topic of discussion at our morning meetings.

We all knew that Jason’s wounds would take a long time to heal, but thanks to the dedication and expertise of the doctors at Just Cats, Jason was feeling better each day. At Just Cats, we are proud to house the latest veterinary medical technology, one of which is our state-of-the-art Laser Therapy. Jason was very happy to get his laser treatments, and we are very impressed with how much laser therapy treatments helped to recover and heal Jason’s wounds.

A few months ago, we had asked you to show your kindness and generosity by donating to our Just Cats Nine Lives Fund to help with the costs of Jason’s care. Thanks to you, we raised over $500 that went directly towards Jason’s medical bills. On behalf of the Just Cats family and Jason’s owners, we thank you tremendously.

Through lots of time, dedication, and help from you, we are so happy to say that Jason has made a full recovery and is now back in his loving home.

Everyone at Just Cats was so grateful to be a part of this amazing little cat’s recovery. While we will certainly miss his cute face around the clinic, the day Jason was sent home was beautiful and bright. We hope to see Jason back in for his check ups in the future, but for now, we wish him love and a comfy spot to continue doing his favorite activity—kneading his blankets and making biscuits with love.
